Comment on Extract .srt subtitles from Blu-ray Disc/BDMV/BD ISO by hatbrox

Hi,

Many blu-ray disks have a subtitle track has 2 purposes:
show all subtitles
show forced subtitles
the forced ones are present in the same subtitle but have the forced flag set to Y.
In your example, the forced subtitle was a separate track. That's very easy then to extract it and many softwares can do the same.

Here is the tricky one:
"Flags of Our Fathers" has a subtitle track that serves full subtitle and forced only.
After loading the Blu-ray structure, ByteCopy would list the following:
main title
     |__audio 1
     |__Audio 2
     |__subtitles English
                 |__subtitles English (forced only)

This is where I couldn't find a way to use ByteCopy to extract both the full subtitle on one SRT then another SRT that contain the forced ones.
In tools>preferences>subtitles there is a check box called "Forced subtitles only"
I did one subtitle extract with the "Forced subtitles only" checked
then I unchecked the "Forced subtitles only", restarted the programme
I did another subtitle extract.
unfortunately the 2 SRT were identical :-(
So ByteCopy is not working on this blu-ray

Hi, liked your comments and review on getting more from the Blackberry Playbook. I just got mine 4 days ago and am finding it meets my needs.
However, media playback, particularly the music player, would be far better if the album art filled (or almost filled) the screen. Do you know of an app to get this facility or is there a way to show the album art in the background (automatically of course) while the music is playing?
Any help or guidance appreciated.
Thanks, Sean.
